Adaptability evaluation system for energy efficiency renovation of air conditioning system by means of energy performance contracting

Studies the sub-index of adaptability assessment for energy performance contracting (EPC), including energy efficiency benefit, environmental benefit and economic benefit. Establishes a dynamic financial model. Develops a two-stage fuzzy comprehensive evaluation system for adaptability of EPC by analysis of the two-stage fuzzy evaluation matrices with economic benefits, energy efficiency benefits and environmental benefits. It is verified by energy efficiency renovation project of the air conditioning system for one public building. The result shows the importance of evaluation for dynamic financial net present value (NPV) and feasibility of energy efficiency renovation for the air conditioning system by means of EPC.
